My Dear Father

This will be handed to
you by Dr. Ramsay, the Gentleman who has
so kindly taken charge of my Letters. _ he
proposes visiting Greenock, and I need scarcely
tell you and - the family to be attentive
to him. He is a very Gentlemanly young
man, and one that longer acquaintance
only makes me esteem the more. I refer
you to the Dr. as to particulars with regard
to my health. Believe me ever

My Dear Father
Your very affectionate Son
