I Archibald Campbell of Succoth Lieutennent Governour of ye
Caſtle of dumbartone being for ye preſent whole and sound in my
judgement and having a desyre farder to order my worldlie
affairs so that ther may be no confusione after my removall
and in the mean tyme I recommend my self to God almighty
to be saved by the merits of Jesus Christ his onlie sone my
saviour I make my Latter Will as follwes To Witt I commise
and appoynte William Campbell of Garscoob my brother
my sole [¿] and succeſsor to my whole moveables
debts ſummes of money and ohers whatſomever [¿] and
[¿] to me be any person or persons whatſomever
the whole [¿] of my body with my preſses
and books and all [¿] belonging to me
and subsiſtance money [¿] to me as Leiut Governore
the Legacces following viz that my said brother pay
whatſomever cauſe or occaſione proceeding the [¿]
pleaſe God to call me ſoom tyme to [¿] honorably
Item I appoynt my said eqer to pay ane hundreth punds
for [¿] the ſeverall charges of Lilias Jonſtone
my Grandmother when it ſhall pleaſe God to remove her
Item I appoynt my said eqer to pay out of [¿]
of my moveabls to Agnes Ewing daughter to Marion Campbell
[¿] after her marriage the @rent therof sum be payed
be my said eqer to my said [¿] the tyme of my death
till the marriadge of her said daughter And [¿] the said
Agnes die befor that tyme the said somme to be diveydet
amongst the rest of my said Ang her children Item I appoynt
my said eqer to pay to my Cosing William Campbell [¿] baillie on
dumbartane the somme of Three hundreth punds Scots [¿]
And alſo to pay to Robert Bell wryter in Edr the ſomme of
six hunndreth merks ſcots money also I appoynt my said
eqer to pay threſcore pounds ſcots to John Campbell my [¿]
with full power to my said eqer to call for the sommes dew to
me and if need beis ſervants therupon to [¿]
discharges to grant upon payment And every [¿] to doe
as I might have done my self before the [¿], [¿]
all former testaments and factoures proceeding this date And
to the [¿] seſsione of dumbartane the somme of tue hundreth
merks Scots which somme I appoynt and ordane my said eqer
to pay subscryved be me att dumbartan the tuentie furth day of
october one thouſand seven hundreth and one ears befor the [¿] off
Robert duncansome of Garshank and me [¿] watson wryter in dumbartane
and wryter thereof.
