Minute of Meeting of the Board
of Curators vested with the Patronage
of the St. Mungo (Notman) Chair of
Pathology under Ordinance of the
University Court of the University of
Glasgow No. 10 (Medical Chairs), held
in the Senate Room at the University on
Tuesday, 26th. September 1911.

From St. Mungo's College:-

Alan E. Clapperton, Secretary.
An apology for absence was intimated from the
Lord Provost.
Principal Sir Donald MacAlister was appointed
Chairman of the meeting.
The Principal reported on behalf of the Court that in accordance with the
Ordinance an arrangement had been made with the Royal
Infirmary to the satisfaction of the Court for affording
due facilities in the infirmary for teaching and
examination by the Professor to be appointed.
The Principal also reported that intimation had been
made in the newspapers that the Board of Curators would
meet during September to make an appointment to the
Chair.
An application for the Chair was received from:-
John H. Teacher,M.A.,M.D.,
32 Kingsborough Gardens, Glasgow
On the motion of Professor Glaister seconded by
Mr. Hedderwick of the Board appointed Dr. Teacher to
the St. Mungo (Notman) Chair of Pathology in accordacne
with the provisions of the Ordinance the
appointment to take effect as from 1st. October 1911
