Dear Sir,
We are in receipt of your letter
of 3rd inst., enquiring for particulars of
the Lease of the ground to the East of Queen
Margaret Hall at present leased to Laurelbank
School. We regret that we have no
information regarding the Lease. The rent,
however, is £20 per annum.
You may recollect that Queen Margaret
Hall was formerly managed by Mr. C. D.
Gairdner, late of Messrs. MacClelland, Ker
& Co., and on making enquiry there, we have
been informed that the rent was first collected
in 1925.
Yours faithfully,
Hill & Hoggan
