Dear Sir,
Queen Margaret Hall
We refer to our conversation with you the other day, and
enclose a rough sketch of the ground at Queen Margaret Hall belonging
to the University. The westmost & south-most parts were acquired from
the Queen Margaret Hall Company and the eastmost part was acquired
from Mr. McBrayne's Trustees.
We have been unable to find any lease in favour of Laurel
Bank School of the eastmost property. We have gone over our business
books since the ground was acquired, and have not been able to trace
that we had anything to do with the preparation of any such Lease.
Yours faithfully,
Mitchells Johnston
