My Dear Sir I have sent all the copy back to Mr Dorrell , & pushed him to go on with the printing at once. I have postponed all material alterations , & made my few alterations , so that the printing may be proceeded with at once. You may safely order a large impression , but I leave that to you. The most important notices of the book have yet to appear. But it would be an advantage if the type could be kept standing until about January , to see what the demand may be. I go down to Manchester this evening to see some original Crompton documents , & look at some Cotton factories. Any letter addressed to the above will reach me on my return on Saturday evening. [Yours] faithfully S Smiles J. Murray Esq Dec 1 1859 Smiles S
