THE COLLEGE AUTHORITIES consider it expedient at this time to remind Students of the declaration contained in the ADMONITION which was read in the COMMON HALL on the 17th of November last, to wit: "That in "consequence of the increasing disregard of decency and "propriety at the Public Meetings of the University when "assembled in the Common Hall, which was rapidly "bringing disgrace on this ancient Seminary, and tending "to subvert that salutary discipline to which it has "hitherto been so signally indebted," they were determined no longer to tolerate the use of Missiles of any description, or any repetition of that disorderly conduct which has disturbed the Meetings in the Common Hall. It is therefore now again most emphatically intimated, "that any person, be he Student or not, found acting in "defiance of this injunction within the jurisdiction of the "College Authorities, will be Severely Punished." BY ORDER OF THE COLLEGE. D. MACFARLAN, PRINCIPAL. GLASGOW COLLEGE, 14th MARCH, 1849. George Richardson, Printer to the University.
