Messrs. Hill & Hoggan, 15, West George Street, Glasgow, C.2. Dear Sirs, The University Court has approved of an arrangement at the Western Infirmary for instruction to be given in the Septic Ward to students attending the cliniques of the various surgeons, the surgeon in charge of the Septic Ward (Mr. J. Scouler Buchanan, M.B., 7 Park Circus, Glasgow, C.3.) to receive from each of these surgeons a proportion of the fee for Clinical instruction paid to them. As the Regius Professor of Surgery is paid no Clinical fees, the Court has agreed to pay the proportion due in respect of the students attending Professor Young's Clinique. The amount for this term is £9 and I shall be glad if you will remit same to Mr. Scouler Buchanan. Yours faithfully, (Signed) Robt. Brough. Registrar.
