As my Assistant mentioned on his recent call, the Com pany are prepared to settle the claim for arrears on the line the discussed. I observe from the Note, however, that the annual sum charged varies from £12:11:9d to £12:13:0½. In the Valuation of 1803 the Teinds of the arias lands, which include the Five Shilling Land of Hyndland &c., are fixed at £12.
