S1M-565# Elaine Smith (Coatbridge and Chryston) (Lab) : Hospital Infections— That the Parliament notes with concern the recent alleged cases of necrotising fasciitis in Monklands Hospital and the wider issues across Scotland of hospital contracted infection and wishes to ensure that all clinical staff within the NHS in Scotland are effectively trained and informed in the implementation of and adherence to infection control programme standards.
