Outcome of the Scottish Executive's consultation on the McIntosh Report: The Committee considered paper LG/00/22/2 by the Clerk and noted the attached report from the Deputy Minister. The Committee agreed to invite the Deputy Minister for Local Government to attend the meeting of the Committee on 12 September 2000. 4. Transport (Scotland) Bill (in private): The Committee considered a draft letter to the Transport Committee to inform its Stage 1 consideration of the Bill. The Committee agreed a number of changes, and delegated powers to the Convener and the Clerk to finalise the letter and submit it to the Clerk of the Transport and the Environment Committee.
