The clerks should be consulted about the wording and admissibility of amendments. The last day on which amendments may be lodged is two days before the Stage (or each day of the proceedings at the Stage). Amendments may be lodged until 4.30 pm on any sitting day (or day of recess when the office of the Clerk is open), except on the last day when amendments may be lodged when the deadline is 2.00 pm (Rule 9.10.2). Members are strongly advised to lodge amendments in good time before the beginning of the Stage, and as early as possible during the day. It is expected that the first day of Stage 2 proceedings will be on Wednesday 18 December and therefore that the deadline for lodging amendments for the 1st Marshalled List will be 2.00 pm on Monday 16 December.
