Text S1M-240 Ms Wendy Alexander (Paisley North) (Lab) : Scottish Executive's Compact with the Voluntary Sector— That the Parliament acknowledges the significant role played by the voluntary sector in service delivery, its commitment to the social economy and its growing role in policy development and in strengthening communities and, in recognition of the commitment to the voluntary sector, welcomes and endorses the Scottish Compact which has been developed in partnership with the sector, as this will provide the basis for a shared understanding of the relationship and responsibilities between the Scottish Executive and the voluntary sector to their mutual benefit and serve as a firm foundation on which to build for the future.
