Dear Joan,

This is just a little note to let you know that May died 28/2/93. It was
very sudden and mercifully quick - a massive stroke - she was 87.

I miss her very much but as they say "life must go on" - . I am managing to
cope fairly well and time will heal the wound.

I hope you are keeping fairly well yourself. The times we are living in
take a bit of understanding. Thank goodness for happy memories.

I will stop now with kindest thoughts.
