Thomas Crawford's Diary, 1825
“Very very hot”
Entry for 29/06/1825
Wednesday 29th. We were becalmed all day and were very very hot the awnings set fore & aft. The sailors arms are [?] with the heat of the Sun. I had a very sore throat and suppose that it was on account of the change from cold to heat. The evenings are truly beautiful & delightful, the moon shining very clear & the evenings cool.
