The second round continued in the same vein, with no lessening of standards or rarity. Chinese Expeditionary Force Chinese and Indian stamp ‘combination’ covers. Indian Mutiny material from The Col. K. Young correspondence ( Young was the Judge Advocate General of the Indian and the Bengal Armies) and material from the Philby (father of the spy) correspondence. Vote of Thanks: In giving the vote of thanks, [CENSORED: forename][CENSORED: surname] said that we had benefited from the great amount of research that Mr [CENSORED: surname] had done and thanked him for the way he had explained things. This was wholeheartedly endorsed by the Society. Next Meeting:’France and Germany’ by Mr & Mrs [CENSORED: surname].
